Having started its business in 1995 with the principle of “completion and delivery of works in a correctly, completely and timely manner, without compromising on quality“, Kontek Insaat has put its signature under many prestigious projects in several regions of Russia, Algeria and Turkey during its roughly a quarter-century-long corporate journey.

Each of the projects such as shopping malls, hospitals, theatre buildings, university buildings, sport facilities for various purposes (like ice hockey halls, stadiums and swimming pools), schools and dormitories, office buildings, houses, state administration buildings that Kontek built has helped Kontek gain experience in various areas. These projects which were completed one after another raised Kontek to upper ranks among the leading construction companies of the world.

Besides being a “recognized and reliable” brand in the international construction industry, Kontek Insaat is today pride of providing job opportunity directly to over one hundred people of various nations at management, engineering and labour levels to meet the work force requirements of the projects it undertakes.

President’s Message

Towards a Quarter-Century…

My valuable partner Haluk Nayman and I set out a long journey by founding Kontek Insaat in 1995 when we were convinced to have sufficient experience and self-confidence to do so.

We have put our signature under several major projects we completed successfully in Moscow, the capital of Russia, Siberia and North Africa. We undertook several major projects with the excitement of the first day and completed them with a high level sense of responsibility, which allowed us to transform Kontek Insaat into a Turkish contracting company which is well known in the international market and whose achievements were approved by numerous rewards.

We are always aware of the fact that investment in human capital and education are of crucial importance. In line with the principles and vision of the great leader Ataturk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey, our aim is to further increase our business volume and create more jobs for qualified labour force of our country and other countries in these days when we are about to celebrate our 25^th anniversary. In order to achieve these objectives, we once again count on our staff and our business partners. On this occasion, we would like to express our gratitude to everyone who performed their works under difficult conditions and contributed to our achievements and therefore to the future of millions of children and young people, besides their contribution to Kontek Insaat.

Arif Adıyaman

Chairman of the Board

Arif Adıyaman was born in Samsun in 1966. After completing his primary and secondary education in this province, he moved to Istanbul to study civil engineering at Yildiz Technical University, where he graduated in 1988. In the same year he entered upon his professional career. He assumed important tasks in domestic and mainly international construction projects for many years. With the knowledge and experience he gained during all these years, he founded Kontek Insaat in 1995 to take part in international projects. Arif Adıyaman, who is also a founding partner of the company, has been acting as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kontek Insaat since 2012. Adıyaman has a good command of Russian, English and Spanish.

Haluk Nayman

Board Member

Haluk Nayman was born in Afyon in 1960. He graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering of Middle East Technical University in 1984. In the same year, he entered upon his professional life and assumed executive tasks in international projects of various leading construction companies of Turkey. He made important contribution to Kontek to become a well-known international construction company of Turkey, thanks to his international experience and accumulated knowledge in the field. He also acted as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kontek Insaat in previous years. He currently acts as the Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of the company. Nayman has a good command of English and Russian.
